Greetings Pioneers! The Steam Next Fest has now come to an end, and we want to say a massive thank you to everyone who played our Demo! Over 70,000 players tried the Demo, and thanks to you, SpaceCraft ranked among the top 25 demos out of more than 3,500 during the event. The good news doesn’t stop there. We also gained new wishlists during the event, bringing our total to 300,000!We’re incredibly proud to have reached this milestone. To put it into perspective, this is the highest number of wishlists any game from our studio has accumulated before release. It goes without saying that we’re thrilled with the positive reception the Demo has received. Because of this, we’ve decided to keep the Demo available on Steam, so anyone who missed the event can still try it out.Of course, the game is still in development, so here are some of the main changes we’ve made over the past week based on your feedback. These changes apply to both the Demo and the Playtest: New settings options:Mouse sensitivity adjustmentInvert Y-axisToggle default sprint or walk in first-personOption to disable screen shake and certain camera effectsFull key rebindingFOV adjustmentUI scalingNon-intrusive control hints for certain actionsMining can now be performed by using left-click Server stability improvementsRemoved nearly all known Demo soft-lock situations:Ongoing fixes for players experiencing issues launching the gameAdditional fixes We also have several improvements currently in progress that will arrive in future updates:Improvements to ship controls to refine the overall feel and make them less arcadeyAdditional control hints, particularly in the Ship EditorFurther optimizations to reduce stuttering and improve loading timesContinued server stability and performance improvementsWant to stay up to date with the latest news?
