Thank you all for your feedback on SpaceCraft. Alongside the Offline Mode released today, we're also kicking off a series of improvements to make the game more enjoyable for everyone.

These updates will include balance changes - especially for the late game, which can sometimes feel too grindy - adjustments to make certain limitations fairer so they don't unnecessarily slow your progress, and clearer guidance to help you understand the options available whenever you encounter a progression bottleneck.

This is just the first of several patches to come. You can count on us to keep improving SpaceCraft over the coming weeks.

v0.3.22380

Gameplay
  • Added a Retrieve Ship option to station Shipyards, allowing players to recall stranded or inaccessible ships.

Balancing
  • Increased the default Base footprint from 50 FP to 60 FP.

  • Reduced the footprint cost of Solar Panels from 10 FP to 4 FP.

  • The Wholesale Request tutorial corporation mission now requires 100 ingots instead of 500.

  • For ongoing contracts where more than 100 ingots have already been delivered, the difference will be refunded to the players.

  • Reduced the crafting cost of the Cistern.

  • Small Steel Part Casing now requires 6 Structural Beams instead of 12.

  • Small Titanium Part Casing now requires 8 Heavy-Duty Beams instead of 12.

  • Rewards from Corporation Contracts requesting Small Steel Part Casings or Small Titanium Part Casings have been reduced accordingly.

  • Reduced the cost of the Modular Systems III permit from 25,000 to 18,000 credits.

  • Reduced the cost of the Better Titanium permit from 10,000 to 7,000 credits.

  • Reduced the cost of the Advanced Frames permit from 50,000 to 30,000 credits.

  • Reduced the cost of the Very Light Alloys permit from 50,000 to 30,000 credits.

Bug Fixes
  • Shipyards can no longer be moved while an unfinished ship is docked.

  • Fixed an issue where some players became stuck in an INVALID LOC state (Affected players may need to respawn to correct the issue.)

An early version has been pushed (v0.3.22375) a few hours ago. As a result you could find yourself drifting in space. Be sure to do the update first and then hit respawn if you are still falling into the ground or having your ship blocked at a landind pad or shipyard
